Meet the T16: compact character, considered choices
A bike can catch your attention before you have thought about where you will keep it or how you will use it. Treat that first impression as the start of your shortlist. A good purchase also fits the less exciting parts of everyday life: parking, charging, moving through a doorway, and getting on and off comfortably.
01 / THE LOOK
Moped-inspired, in a smaller format
The T16 combines a compact silhouette with 16 × 4-inch tires. If that style appeals to you, make rider fit your next check.
02 / THE SETUP
Suspension at both ends
Front and rear suspension are part of the T16 configuration. Think about the surfaces on your regular route when comparing this feature.
03 / YOUR ROUTINE
Choose around a real ride
Picture a typical outing from beginning to end. Where will you ride, stop, park, and recharge? Those answers help turn an attractive bike into a practical choice.

What does your usual outing look like?
A neighborhood loop
Start with a route you know. Think about junctions, road surfaces, and places where you can stop comfortably. Check that the route permits your bike configuration before making it part of your routine.
A coffee stop or local errand
Plan the parking as well as the ride. Decide where you can secure the bike, how you will carry essentials, and whether the return trip includes extra stops. Leave room in your battery planning for detours.
A relaxed outing with friends
Agree on the route, pace, and stopping points beforehand. Choose an outing around everyone's experience and equipment, rather than trying to match the fastest bike in the group.
👻 Small in appearance does not mean light to lift.
If stairs or vehicle loading are part of your day, think through those tasks before purchasing. Measure the space and decide how you will move the bike when you are not riding it.
Four checks before you choose
01 / Reach and control
Check the seat position, handlebar reach, and access to the brake levers. Consider how comfortably you can start, stop, and support the bike. Height alone cannot answer all of these questions.
02 / Parking and storage
Measure your doorway and storage area against the bike's current dimensions. Allow space to turn and move it, rather than checking only whether it fits while stationary.
03 / Charging and distance
Plan your round trip and a convenient charging routine. Actual riding distance changes with speed, assistance, hills, load, and conditions. Follow the supplied charging instructions and use the specified charger.
04 / The person who will ride it
If you are shopping for a teenager, involve them in the fit assessment. Check the manufacturer's age guidance and local riding requirements. Consider experience and control as well as size, and include a properly fitted helmet in the riding setup.
T16 or T8: which should you explore first?
Shortlist the T16 if its compact proportions appeal to you and the fit checks look promising. Explore the T8 if you want to compare a different frame format and a choice of single- or dual-motor configurations.
Compare both against the same checklist: rider fit, route, storage, charging, and budget. Avoid choosing only from a photograph or one headline specification.
Compare the T8 Lineup →A few questions before your first ride
Does “dual suspension” mean “dual motor”?
No. Suspension describes the components that respond to bumps; motor count describes the drive system. The T16 has one motor and suspension at the front and rear.
Is a compact bike automatically suitable for a younger rider?
No. Appearance and wheel size do not establish suitability. Check individual fit, handling ability, manufacturer guidance, and applicable riding requirements before choosing.
Should I plan a trip around the maximum advertised range?
Leave a reserve instead. Your route and riding habits may differ from the conditions behind a published range figure. Start with a manageable outing and learn how the battery performs in your own routine.
What should I send the team if I need help choosing?
Share the rider's height and inseam, experience, usual route, and any storage or lifting constraints. If buying for a teenager, mention their age so the team can point you to the relevant product guidance.
